Specialised Stage Engineering has made a commitment to promoting safety in the entertainment industry by developing a comprehensive training program for Schools, Professional Theatres, Corporations and Organisations. Training sessions are designed to address the ever-changing technology in the entertainment business, allowing you to keep current with new standards and materials. Specialised Stage Engineering takes into account the attendees needs and requirements and teaches accordingly.

We offer training in the following areas:

• Counterweight Rigging
• Rigging safety – complying with WHS/How to choose the right and use the right materials (hardware)
• Rigging systems: the operation and maintenance of stage systems.
• Truss and Chain Hoists: Inspection, maintenance and proper use.
• Learn to Fly

Each training session last approximately 7 hours, including coffee breaks and an hour lunch break.

Training programs are run in collaboration with More Skills Australia.
